Quantum technology has attracted much attention in recent years such as quantum computing, quantum metrology and quantum communications. Progress has been made with superconducting circuits, trapped ions, photons, atoms and spins. Among them, photonic quantum technology represents a promising platform due to the robustness against decoherence and the availability of precise control of light.
In this talk, I will first overview a recent progress in quantum technology and then will focus on photonic approach to quantum technology. Specifically, I will show the basics and applications of quantum metrology and quantum computing with the latest results of my work.
