Eauxscars 2024

You’re invited to the 2024 Eauxscars! This is the night that we gather as the entire program to celebrate the movies of 2023 in the best sort of parody of the Oscars.

When: Thursday, April 18, from 6 PM-7:30 PM

Where: E 137 Howe-Russell 

If you would like to participate in this momentous event, please put together your funniest, most entertaining, most persuasive presentation (under 5 minutes) for best movie of 2023. It does not have to be an Oscar-nominated film, nor even a "good" film (but it can be! Your pick!).  An Eauxscar will be awarded for Most Outstanding Argument (and there just may be some additional fun and exciting prizes as well).  After the speeches, there will be free pizza!

Movies are on a first come, first serve basis, so once someone has claimed a film, it's off the table! If you would like to be a presenter (or you have any questions!), please contact the Screen Arts Coordinators (screenartscoord@lsu.edu) by Friday, April 5th.
