Greek organizations are the largest and most visible values-based organizations on campus. In its 151st year, Greek life remains an integral part of Louisiana State University. More than 5,000 students are Greek -- 22 percent of the student body -- and make up 37 Greek organizations. Involvement on campus and in the Baton Rouge community, personal growth, leadership development opportunities, and life-long friendships make Greek life one of the most memorable aspects of a student's experience at LSU.
Greek Life transforms lives by supporting and facilitating opportunities and experiences within the Greek community to discover, engage, and learn while fostering an environment for peer accountability based on fraternal values.
Greek Life strives to develop a community that enables individuals to achieve the highest standards of personal integrity and civic engagement for leadership in a global society.
