Scholarships

The College of the Coast & Environment, or CC&E, provides scholarships for its students. These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of donors committed to preserving, protecting, and sustaining the coastal environment for generations to come.

How to Apply

Most of CC&E’s scholarships are awarded via Blackbaud Award Management, an online platform managed by the LSU Foundation. Current students may apply online using this system. New students will complete a Common Application which is used for both admissions and scholarship review. Access links to both systems below.

Students must reapply for awards annually via the Blackbaud Award Management. This also applies to renewable scholarships.

Current and accepted undergraduate and graduate students should apply for these scholarships by March 1

Our Scholarships

The amount of each of our scholarships can vary annually based on market performance and other conditions. We don't award all scholarships every year, and some of our scholarships may be awarded to multiple students.

See the link to the right for a complete list of scholarships. The award amounts listed are indications of previous awards but are not guaranteed amounts.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be enrolled in the LSU College of the Coast & Environment on a full-time basis. Additional qualifications are specified in the description of each scholarship. At this time, students enrolled in the online MS in Environmental Sciences are only eligible for the Travel Awards from the Louisiana Environmental Lecture Series Fund.

Additional Information

  • Scholarship recipients are announced each spring in April or May, and awards are issued at the start of the fall and/or spring semesters each year.
  • Funds are disbursed in the student account and may be used for tuition, fees, and other education-related expenses processed through student accounts.
