College of Science Scholarships and Awards

The LSU College of Science awards scholarships to entering freshman and continuing students each academic year. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of donors whose investment in the college will help ensure the success of future generations of scientists.

Students may view a full list of College of Science Scholarship opportunities using the LSU Blackbaud Award Management system (BAM).  This system will allow students to search for and apply to various available opportunities funded through the LSU Foundation.

Students may access the system by logging into MyLSU > Financial Services > Blackbaud Award Management. Log in using your MyLSU credentials.

Entering Freshman Scholarships

The College of Science freshman scholarships are determined by a committee appointed by the dean of the college. Consistent with the LSU Student Aid Office, students who meet the university priority deadline will be considered for scholarships. The college uses the information provided by the student on their LSU admission application to determine scholarship eligibility.

Students applying for undergraduate admission to LSU and interested in financial aid opportunities should review the steps to apply and the deadlines using the LSU Office Enrollment Management Office of Financial Aid website for guidance.

Continuing Student Scholarships

Students admitted into the College of Science may be eligible for College of Science scholarships for continuing students. These scholarships and awards are allotted to high achieving students making significant impact in their major department. Students are encouraged to participate in a research experience in the department, be active in discipline specific student organizations, and engage community service activities.  Students must use the BAM system to review scholarship in which they are eligible to be considered.
