For more than 30 years, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation has supported hundreds of top performing students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. This year, LSU physics majors Rory Bentley and Harvey Shows are among the top performing scholars to receive the award.

LSU won first place in the 2018 SEC MBA Case Competition held at the E.J. Ourso College of Business in Baton Rouge, La., on Saturday. The winning team was comprised of Jack Anjier, Daniel Hofmann, Michael Lacombe and Roman Lantukh, and it was the first SEC championship for the university.

LSU will host the 2018 SEC MBA Case Competition on April 12-14. The event will feature teams of MBA students solving a business problem facing Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, a Louisiana-based restaurant company. The media is invited to the final presentations and awards ceremony to be held Saturday, April 14.

Ursula Emery McClure, FAAR, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, A. Hays Town Professor in the LSU School of Architecture, was named on ArchDaily’s list of 13 top female architects, the only architect in the United States to make the list.
