Pharmacy Day CANCELED
As a precautionary measure, LSU is mandating that all on-campus events and LSU-sponsored off-campus events are canceled effective immediately. All LSU School of Veterinary Medicine Continuing Education events are canceled until May 30, 2020.
Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2020
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: LSU School of Veterinary Medicine
The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), in partnership with the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA), is hosting the annual Pharmacy Day, and we invite your company to participate. This event provides a unique opportunity for your business to gain exposure to approximately 320 veterinary students who will one day become clients or complete externships at your organization.
The exhibitor's registration fee is $250. Checks can be made out to "SAVMA" and must be paid prior to the event. This cost reserves a 10' x 10' space in the hallway surrounding the courtyard and includes coffee and pastries, as well as a catered lunch. The remainder of the registration fee will be set aside to support SAVMA and their many student-driven projects.
To reserve a space, please complete the registration information. A floor map is included from which you may indicate your booth location preferences. Booths will be assigned based on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables, chairs and plastic table covers will be provided, but feel free to use your company's promotional materials. Set-up will begin the morning of the event at 10 a.m.
In order to increase traffic flow to your booth, students will each be given a card upon which you and other exhibitors will place a sticker to confirm that the student visited your booth. Students must visit all of the booths in order to turn in the card and be eligible for door prizes. The LSU SVM will provide you with those stickers, and if you are able to donate a prize, please indicate so on the registration form.
Your support of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and SAVMA is greatly appreciated by not only our faculty and staff, but also the students that will benefit so greatly from this event.
