The philosophy of our program is to teach communication skills, work and professional ethics. We hope to provide hands on experience in a professional environment with a diversified caseload from backyard pets to Grand Prix equine athletes. Interns are treated (and expected to act) as doctors. You will receive your own appointments, work up emergencies, run anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures after a brief initial training period. This is a general practice internship. The caseload will include varied medical, surgical, neurological, neonatal and reproductive cases. We maintain good professional working relationships with outside specialists in the fields of radiology/advanced imaging, internal medicine, advanced surgical orthopedics and cardiology to provide the highest care and resources for our clients. Humphrey Giacopuzzi and Associates has an excellent reputation in the field of theriogenology with onsite collection and freezing capabilities, an extensive breeding caseload (fresh and frozen) and the opportunity to practice advanced reproductive techniques including embryo transfer and oocyte recovery.

- Intern participates in a rotating on-call and anesthesia schedule
- On-site housing and intern-only ambulatory vehicle is provided
- Competitive salary with 2 days off each week
- Full technical support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - our interns are doctors, not technicians.

Associate Veterinarian in California Reading through the employment adds, they all start to look the same. You get a little history, some real estate information and then an equipment list. The most important part of a veterinary hospital is the people! We get that! We have employees that have been with us for decades, I think that says something about our team! That said; let me bore you with some history, real estate information and an equipment list: We currently have 4 small animal practices in the Modesto/Manteca communities of the Central Valley. College Veterinary Hospital, our original location, has been providing veterinary care since 1965. As well as general practice, we work with a boarded dermatologist, a boarded cardiologist, a boarded surgeon and a boarded radiologist. We have digital X-ray, digital dental x-ray, surgical laser, ultrasound, and complete in house laboratory equipment. For the convenience of our clients we also offer boarding and grooming.
Due to the success of our practices and the growth of the surrounding area, we are looking for two additional doctors. We have great, modern hospitals, motivated staff, and great clients - we need great veterinarians. Our starting salary is $85,000.00, $5000.00 for moving expenses, health insurance allowance, employer funded profit sharing plan, C.E. allowance, association memberships and no emergency calls.
