Remote Access

The SIF currently provides the capability of remote access to instrumentation for monitoring extended analytical runs in "real-time.”  Faculty have access to this capability for usage as a classroom-teaching tool and since a software interface controls most of our instrumentation and can remotely control many of the basic functions.

If you would like more information about the use of remotely operated instrumentation to enhance your class or lab, please contact us. We will go over your request with you, check that the specific instrument you would like to utilize has remote monitoring/operation available, and during your scheduled remote session, we will have one of our Instrument Specialists available to assist with sample loading.
