Gotcha Bikes & Zipcars

Gotcha Bikes are an e-bike share system available to LSU students. Students can reserve bikes at hubs throughout campus using the Gotcha Mobility app. 

LSU has partnered with Zipcar, the world’s leading car sharing network, to place five vehicles on campus for students, faculty and staff ages 18 and older, as well as members of the local community ages 21 and over.

With a $15 student membership, you can hop into anyone of the local LSU Zipcars on campus and be on your way in just minutes. Gas & insurance included. Save hundreds over car ownership. Go to to join LSU's network.

Gold Standard Student Housing

 LSU Student Government, in cooperation with the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney's office and the LSU Police Department, will offer the Gold Standard Student Housing Program to apartment communities and other multi-unit housing rental properties throughout the surrounding LSU Area

The first of its kind nationally, the Gold Standard Student Housing Program is a proactive, cooperative effort designed to abate crime and to raise awareness for apartment managers, owners, and residents in student housing complexes.

Parking Ticket Appeals

The Parking Appeals Committee is a student committee housed under the Exec branch that hears all student parking appeals.


Parking Shuttles

LSU SG has partnered with LSU Parking to offer shuttles from Skip Bertman Drive and South Stadium lots that are available to pick up students from the outskirts of campus at the designated locations on this map indicated by a green dot.

Purple Heart Parking

The department of Veteran & Military Student Affairs dedicated two parking spots to student veterans who have received the Purple Heart medal.
