LSU Local is the bridge between LSU students and the Baton Rouge community. Students enter campus freshmen year eager to get work experience. Opportunities are sometimes hard to come by freshman year, though, and that’s where LSU Local will come in. Partnering with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, students will be able to find opportunities catered directly to their career needs. With opportunities all throughout college, BRAC and LSU SG hope to increase the number of students who choose to call Baton Rouge home upon graduation. With so much to offer in the Capital Region, SG knows LSU Local we be the catalyst that keeps LSU Tigers working to better Louisiana right here in Baton Rouge.
