Groovin' Policies & Procedures
Groovin' 2019 will be held at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Policies and procedures for the event are listed below.
Bags & Checkpoints
All guests will be subject to LSU Athletics Geaux Clear bag policy. For more details on this policy, and for a list of approved bags, please visit Geaux Clear: Bag Policy in LSU Athletics Venues. All guests at must also pass through security checkpoints with walk through metal detectors and/or wands. Early arrival is recommended.
Two permanent concession stands (with four points of sale) will be open on the concourse at portals D/E & H/J. Two portable conession stands will also be available on the concourse level including Dippin' Dots. The permanent concession stand in the Southeast lower portal will be open for guests with floor access. See items available at permanent concession stands below.

*LSU Concessions on the concourse is open to all guests on the 200 and 300 levels and accepts payment in the form of cash, credit/debit cards and Tiger Cash. LSU Concessions on the floor is open to student guests with floor access.
All guests can enter from the Southwest Upper Portal starting at 7:00 p.m. The elevator is available for use and is located in the Southeast Lower corner of the building.
Floor access is available to approximately 2,500 LSU students only at the Southwest Lower Portal starting at 7:00 p.m.
Guests on the VIP list can enter at the Northwest Lower Portal from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
The Groovin' Pre-Party hosted for students by LSU Student Government College Councils will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be a priority section on the floor of the PMAC for students who present a valid Tiger Card upon entrance. Space is limited to the first 2,500 students and available on a first come basis. Students who enter the priority section will receive a wristband that must be worn at all times.
Student tickets are free and must be claimed in advance. Students can claim their tickets by logging in at LSUsports.net/studenttickets. The deadline to claim tickets online is Wednesday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. If all student tickets are not claimed by the deadline, students can pick them up from the PMAC box office the night of the concert from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Members of the general public can purchase tickets in advance. Tickets for the public are limited and available for $15 each. These tickets are general admission in the 200 and 300 levels.
Guests on the VIP list must show a valid Tiger Card or driver's license to enter from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Guests in the VIP section must wear VIP credentials at all times. If a guest has requested a plus 1, both must arrive at the same time to receive passes.
