As we return to traditional on-campus operations, we want to assure the LSU community that safety is our guidepost. We will follow all CDC and state safety guidance, and will do everything possible to protect the health of our students, faculty, and staff.
Updates and modifications to fall reopening will be communicated on this site. All information provided is subject to change if the public health and safety situation changes.
Download the "Roadmap to Fall 2020" for comprehensive information on our guiding principles as we return to campus as well as our plans to keep everyone safe and healthy, including specific guides for students and employees.
COVID-19 Reporting Dashboard
Data collected through the TIGER Check Daily Symptom Checker, the LSU Emergency Operations Center, and COVID-19 testing centers will help drive the university’s decisions about mitigation strategies and operations. The dashboard will be updated three times a week (M-W-F).
COVID-19 Reporting & Protocol
Faculty, staff, and students who receive a positive COVID-19 test result are required to notify LSU through the TIGER Check Daily Symptom Checker.
COVID-19 testing is available on campus for students, faculty and staff. Tigers, do your part and get tested to help slow the spread.
Return to Campus Form
The LSU community will be required to fill out a return to campus form, track their symptoms daily, isolate if they feel ill, get tested if applicable, exercise caution daily, and report positive tests and close contacts.
LSU will continue to closely follow all developments related to COVID-19 and will keep the campus community apprised of any major changes in the situation.
The fall semester and on-campus instruction will begin as planned, on August 24. However, fall holiday will be cancelled, and students will not return to campus after the Thanksgiving holiday.
