Cedar Hall

Cedar Hall features modern gathering spaces and spacious suites to meet the needs of 21st century college students. Students live in suites with a single entry door that opens to  shared common and bathroom spaces. From there, each two-student room has its own lockable entry door to the living and sleeping areas.

Located on the west side of campus by the Enchanted Forest, Cedar Hall offers easy access to The 5 dining hall, The Quad, LSU Library, the Greek Amphitheater, and most athletic venues. Cedar Hall opened fall 2019.

A group gaming room is unique to Cedar Hall. Small group gathering areas are throughout Cedar Hall to encourage community building. The seminar room overlooks the surrounding outdoor space. The Cedar Hall lobby is bright and open with floor to ceiling windows and a desk open 24/7.

The commons area offers students various seating options, a laundry room, kitchen, TV viewing areas, and access to outdoor seating areas. Covered bike racks help students' bikes stay dry. A conference room is open for residents to use for group work, meetings, or studying. Cedar Hall suites feature a single door for entry and where you are greeted with a shelf in the foyer between the two rooms and vanities.
