International Services uses an express mail service (University Express Mail Services, or UEMS) that will allow you to pay for and receive your documents through DHL, FedEx or UPS in 3-5 days after your I-20/DS-2019 has been processed. Requesting your documents through express mail is at YOUR expense and your credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards only) will be charged upon requesting the service. (This site also allows wire transfer or bank teller deposit for those who are unable to use a credit/debit card.)
To request express mailing of your documents, you must click on the EShipGlobal link provided in the “Learn More” box at right (works best with Internet Explorer & Mozilla Firefox browsers). Do not go through DHL, FedEx or UPS directly. If you choose this mailing option, all communication will go through the EShipGlobal/UEMS service, who will notify International Services that you are requesting your documents be sent by express mail.
NOTE: You also must select LSU's 'International Office Services' (Natalie Rigby) as the sender if you want to receive your documents.
If you use this service, you will be required to create your own user name and password in order to create an account. To request shipment, you will need your LSU Student ID number, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number and payment information. You may request shipment either to your home country address or to a U.S. address. If your documents will be sent to a U.S. address that is not your own, please include on your order, the name of the person who lives at that address. Please pay close attention to the information submitted, as errors in the payment information or submitting incorrect or incomplete address information will result in a delay in the mailing of your documents.
