Veronica joined the LSU COMD faculty in August of 2015, as a Clinical faculty at the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program. She has extensive experience in evaluation and treatment of adults and pediatrics in the outpatient, acute care, early steps, home health, school system settings, rehabilitation, and skilling nursing care. Veronica has provided intervention for early language, feeding, school-aged speech/language, autism, fluency, developmental disabilities, aphasia, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, traumatic brain injury, voice, trach/vent, and laryngectomee rehabilitation. She has participated and been an active member of interdisciplinary treatment teams, patient/family education and training, and interdepartmental staff training. Veronica was trained by Dr. Susan Langmore for FEES in the adult populations and performs pharyngograms to both adults and pediatrics. Her current interests include swallowing, language, voice and neurological involvement in the pediatric and adult populations.
