Audiology Services

Hearing loss affects both children and adults. Approximately 3 out of every 1,000 children in the United States are born with hearing loss. About 15% of American adults aged 18 and over report difficulty hearing, and 1 in 3 people in the United States between the ages of 65 and 74 have hearing loss. Hearing loss impacts communication and everyday life. Some frequently reported symptoms of hearing loss include the following:

  • Muffled hearing
  • Difficulty understanding speech
  • Difficulty hearing in background noise
  • Requiring louder volume with television
  • Asking others to repeat themselves
  • Avoiding social situations

Early identification of hearing loss is essential to better outcomes for those with hearing loss. If a hearing loss is diagnosed it is important to know that you have options. Our audiologist will determine if your hearing loss requires medical management by a physician, or if you are a candidate for amplification.

With innovative advancements in technology, new hearing devices automatically adapt to the ever-changing environments of your life—from quiet conversations to noisy restaurants. The results are enhanced sound quality and better noise reduction; meaning, you will hear better with less effort. Modern hearing aids are capable of streaming phone calls and music from your phone directly to your ears. Additionally, hearing aids are now offered with a rechargeable option, so you no longer have to buy or change batteries. This innovative technology is available in a multitude of styles and power options.

Audiology Services include:

  • Comprehensive Audiometric Evaluations (children and adults)
