Tiger Card

The Tiger Card is your official LSU ID and your all access pass to everything on campus. You'll need it to access residence halls, dining halls, athletic events, the UREC, and more.

How to get your Tiger Card

You must have:

  • a valid LSU I.D. number (89 number)
  • a government issued photo ID, such as a license or passport. (High school IDs, bank card, birth certificates, social security cards, etc. will not be accepted as forms of identification.

Please note there is a $20 nonrefundable fee to replace a lost or stolen Tiger Card. Once a lost or stolen Tiger Card is replaced, it is permanently unavailable for use and cannot be reactivated at any time. For more information, visit the Tiger Card Office website.

 


TigerCASH

TigerCASH is your money loaded on your Tiger Card. TigerCASH rolls over every semester. There is a one-time transaction for the remaining balance upon graduation or resignation. TigerCASH can be used at over 300 locations in and around LSU with no minimum deposit. For more information, visit the Tiger Card Office website.

 


Meal Swipes vs. Paw Points

Meal swipes are used at all-you-care-to-eat-facilities, The 5 and 459 Commons. One swipe equals one meal. Commuter meal plan swipes are also accepted at The Club at Union Square buffet.

Paw Points are used at any LSU Dining facility. These dollars refer to the retail portion of the meal plans. Paw Points have a one time roll over from Fall to Spring if you purchase a Spring meal plan. Paw Points expire at the end of the Spring semester.

Resident Meal Plans

  • 12 Tiger Meals per week + $600 paw points = $1,915
  • 15 Tiger Meals per week + $375 paw points = $1,944
  • 19 Tiger Meals per week + $150 paw points = $2,084

  • 25 meal swipes + $350 paw points = $579
  • 35 meal swipes + $450 paw points = $776
  • 45 meal swipes + $550 paw points = $961
  • $400 paw points = $400

The UPS Store at LSU

The UPS Store at LSU is the university's mail fulfillment center. Once your mail or package is checked into the UPS Store at LSU, an email will be sent to your lsu.edu account with a pickup code. When claiming your mail or package, you must go to the check-in station and type in pickup code, or your LSU email address. You may proceed to the package pickup window and handed your mail or package! Remember to bring a photo ID, such as your Tiger Card or a driver's license.
