University Dispute Resolution and Barrier Reporting


LSU's Office of Civil Rights & Title IX is responsible for receiving and investigating complaints of discrimination on all protected statuses, as stated in the LSU’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Discrimination is defined as the exclusion, limitation or denial of benefits of the services, programs or activities of a public entity based on disability.

External Grievance Options

  • The office for Civil Rights (OCR) in the U.S. Department of Education is responsible for enforcing federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance from the Department of Education.
