Campus Life provides involvement, leadership & service opportunities for students;
manages over 400 registered student organizations; and advises and supports Geaux BIG Baton Rouge, the Homecoming Student Committee, Kitchens on the Geaux, Student Activities Board, and Volunteer LSU.
Disability Services advocates for students with disabilities and provides disability-based
accommodations and support services, such as note taking, interpreting services, proctoring
exams, and referrals. Long-term and temporary accommodations are available. Students
must register to use services.
Greek Life oversees 39 Greek organizations; manages the recruitment and intake process; and advises Greek councils including Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and Panhellenic Council (PHC). Greek Life also advises the Greek Board of Directors (GBOD).
Student Advocacy & Accountability administers the LSU Code of Student Conduct; responds to students in crisis; and manages the LSU Cares network. With the LSU Commitment to Community as a guiding principle, our belief is that students should not only accomplish academic goals, but also to do so in a healthy and encouraging environment which fosters personal growth and development.
Student Government (SG) advocates for the interests of students, while enhancing the student experience and supporting student achievement on campus and throughout the community. SG works with University administration to develop policies and procedures that relate to academics, student life, and business affairs.
