January 22, 2018 at 10 a.m.	The housing portal in myLSU reopens today at 10 a.m. for 2018-19 leasing in Nicholson Gateway Apartments! Nicholson Gateway Apartments: All undergraduate and graduate students (including current first-year students) living on or off campus can complete an application, agree to the housing contract, search for and confirm roommates, and select a room/apartment in Nicholson Gateway Apartments. East Campus Apartments, West Campus Apartments and available residence halls: All students (including current first-year students) can complete an application, agree to the housing contract, and search for and confirm roommates in preparation to select a room in East Campus Apartments, West Campus Apartments or available residence halls in February. See timeline below for exact dates. Log in to myLSU to Lease: (myLSU > Student Services > On-Campus Housing) Current on-campus residents should select the 2018-19 Continuing Student Term. You will complete the application, select an apartment, and then pay $250 advance rent to secure that apartment space. Current students not currently living on campus should complete the New Student application. You will complete the application, pay $250 advance rent and $50 application fee, and then will gain access to search for, select, and secure an apartment space. If you get an error message, please email us so we can reset your account.
Week of February 5, 2018	East Campus Apartments & West Campus Apartments Week Monday, February 5 at 1 p.m.: Current ECA/WCA apartment residents can reserve their SAME ROOM in their apartment Selecting a space at this time will make you ineligible to participate in the remaining selection days. Tuesday, February 6: Current ECA/WCA apartment residents who completed renewal on Monday may pull in unassigned roommates into available spaces in their apartment Roommates must be on each other’s “Accepted Roommates” list in the housing portal to be pulled in to an apartment by a roommate. The roommate must accept the room invitation in the housing portal and submit advance rent to complete the process and secure the space. Wed. February 7 at 1 p.m. : All residents (including current first-year students) can reserve a spot in ECA, WCA, or Nicholson Gateway Apartments with the option to pull in unassigned roommates into available spots in their apartment through February 16. Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m.: Apartment selection closes and will reopen at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 26. Roommates must be on each other’s “Accepted Roommates” list in the housing portal to be pulled in to an apartment by a roommate. The roommate must accept the room invitation in the housing portal and submit advance rent to complete the process and secure the space.
Week of February 19, 2018	Residence Halls Week Monday, February 19 at 1 p.m.: Current on-campus residents can reserve a space in available residence halls: Herget Hall Pentagon Community Halls Honors students can select spaces in East & West Laville Halls Friday, February 23 at 10 a.m.: Res hall selection closes and will reopen at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 26.
Monday, February 26, 2018	All Available On-Campus Spaces Reopen Monday, February 26 at 1 p.m.: Any current student can reserve a spot in ECA, WCA, Nicholson Gateway Apartments, and select residence halls with the option to pull in unassigned roommates into available spots in their apartment. Monday, February 26 at 1 p.m.: Wait Lists Open Students who selected a space during contract renewal can add their names to wait lists for preferred apartment/room types. The Assignments Team will work through the spring and summer months to fulfill wait list requests. Please be patient while we work through the lists.
Week of May 21, 2018	Room Changes Open Current students who are interested in room changes should contact the Assignments Staff at reslife@lsu.edu to coordinate a room change request.
