Each of these 3 devices can be used to show acceleration; they each have characteristics that show better in different situations and used in some quantitative manner to compare relative values of acceleration.

1. Electric lights add up quantiratively with acceleration
2. Colored liquid in plastic splashes to one side with inertia to indicate presence and direction of acceleration.
3. Golf tees are spaced to indicate equal times as cart moves, spacing of tees indicates presence, direction and approximate amount of acceleration.
