You can add or drop courses until about the first week of classes. However, you should register for courses as soon as possible because courses fill up quickly.
For courses that have pre-requisites, the online registration system does not recognize whether you meet the pre-requisite since LSU does not have records of your grades and courses taken at your home university. Therefore, the system will not allow you to register in courses with pre-requisites. In this case, email your host coordinator, the course number, name and section that you would like to take and she will assist you.
If you are an Engineering or Art and Design student, you will need to participate in an advising session with the department prior to registering for courses. In this case, please email your host coordinator the course number, name and section that you would like to take and she will assist you with course registration.
