LSU is starting a new program to provide students at any level and from any major
the skills needed to launch your own business. It is called Innovation Corps, or I-Corps
for short, and is based on a nation-wide program sponsored by the NSF to train university
faculty, staff, and students about entrepreneurship. So far 1000 teams have gone through
I-Corps training, with half of those forming businesses.
The LSU I-Corps Site has been up and running since 2016, but this is first time that
the program is open to students EXCLUSIVELY.
Starting in late October, right after Fall Break, any currently enrolled student on
campus is invited to participate in the program. The application process is simple
and you don't even need to have a business to join. Students will be formed into teams
and either work up an idea for a business or have the option of selecting a technology
from a very exciting pool of possibilities.
More details about I-Corps can be found in the Navigation Menu on this page and if
