Delta Zeta is a women’s organization with a mission to inspire change and impact lives on a global scale through scholarship, service, and philanthropy. Delta Zeta was founded on the bonds of sincere and everlasting friendship and prides itself on the pursuit of knowledge, promoting moral and social culture of members, and development of plans for guidance and unity in action. Our sisterhood prepares members for their futures and empowers them with shared values and experiences we hold dear.

Delta Zeta’s philanthropy is Speech and Hearing. We support partners on the national level including Starkey Hearing Foundation, American Society for Deaf, and Serious Fun Children’s Network. The Delta Zeta Sigma chapter also serve local partners in the Baton Rouge area and provides members with hands-on experiences that enrich the lives of those who are hearing and speech impaired. Our chapter supports the Louisiana School for the Deaf, St. Lillian’s Academy, and the Emerge Center. For the last 20 years, Delta Zeta has hosted the Miss LSU pageant, which has raised over $50,000 each year benefitting our philanthropy.
