2018 SPRINGFEST Recruitment Weekend

April 20 - 22, 2018 

The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites you to apply for the annual SPRINGFEST Recruitment Weekend for talented high school juniors from underrepresented backgrounds on LSU's campus to experience college life. Students spend two days visiting, meeting with faculty and staff, interacting with LSU students, and participating in developmental and social activities. All meals, housing, t-shirt, and program materials, with the exception of travel cost, is included.

SPRINGFEST will challenge and encourage students to become leaders. You will leave wanting to know more about yourself and others and how to make the most out of your college experience. Louisiana State University is a committed and inclusive community of people who care about our students educational success!

2018 MLK Commemorative Celebration Week

Events are being rescheduled due to weather.  Stay tuned for more information. 

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration highlights and memorializes the work, accomplishments, and legacy of one of the greatest Civil Rights and African American leaders in modern history. The Celebration, organized by the collective efforts of students, faculty and staff led committees, conceptualizes and executes a series of events to engage the LSU and greater Baton Rouge community on actualizing Dr. King's ideals of social justice, non-violence, education, and service.
