Q: Why did you choose LSU?

A: I chose LSU because I wanted to go to school here for as long as I can remember. I watched LSU sports religiously and I always wanted to be a part of the traditions as a student.

Q: Why did you choose Child & Family Studies as your major?

A: I chose Kinesiology/ Pre-Med because Kinesiology allows me to take the classes I need for Med-school, but also provides me with hands-on experience in class and labs that I didn’t have in other majors.

Q: What are you most excited for this semester?

A: I’m most excited for baseball at the Box this semester!

Q: Why did you apply to be a CHSE Ambassador?

A:  I wanted to share my experience in this college with incoming students to encourage them to join our college because joining CHSE is the best decision I have made at LSU.

Q: What advice would you give to someone contemplating your major?

A: I would tell them how helpful the faculty and staff were when I was on the fence about switching to Kinesiology, and that my favorite classes in college have all been Kinesiology classes that I would have missed out on in another major.

Q: What is something that surprised you about LSU or CHSE?

A:  Something that surprised me about CHSE is how much everyone in the college cares about your success. Everyone in the college is accessible and more than willing to help if you need something which is uncommon at such a large school.

Q: What do you plan to do with your degree once you graduate?

A: I plan on going to Medical school with my degree, and becoming an Oncologist!

An interesting fact about me is I drove 14 hours through the night with three of my buddies to watch LSU baseball in the College World Series Championship last summer.

My dream job would be a sports announcer for ESPN.

My favorite LSU tradition LSU baseball’s Championship Gold jerseys.
