Q: Why did you choose LSU?
A: I chose to attend LSU because I knew that I would be receiving a top-notch education, while also experiencing a rich culture full of ageless traditions. I’ve been a Tiger fan since the day I was born and always wanted to truly be a part of LSU.
Q: Why did you choose Kinesiology as your major?
A: I chose Kinesiology as my major because I love to see how the human body works and moves, also how overall health and wellness is affected by diet, exercise, and mental clarity. Kinesiology also offers a great path to any area of the medical field, whether it be going to medical school or becoming an Occupational Therapist.
Q: What are you most excited for this semester?
A: This semester I’m most excited to branch out, become more involved, and meet new people!
Q: Why did you apply to be a CHSE Ambassador?
A: I applied to become a CHSE Ambassador because I wanted to get more involved and give back to the LSU community that has given so much to me. I love my major, my college, my university, and all the extraordinary people in it!
Q: What advice would you give to someone contemplating your major?
A: Be ready for some tough classes. Kinesiology is not an “easy” major like some people consider it to be, especially if you are on a Pre-Med track! It isn’t easy but it is thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable.
Q: What is something that surprised you about LSU or CHSE?
A: Something that surprised me about CHSE was how large and inclusive the college is. There are so many majors and schools within the college!
Q: What do you plan to do with your degree once you graduate?
A: Once I graduate, I hope to attend either medical school or Physician’s Assistant school.
An interesting fact about me is I will only eat Watermelon if it's seedless. I’m too lazy to eat around the seeds.
My dream job would be working as a Physician or a Surgical PA.
My favorite LSU tradition is singing the Alma Mater before every home football game in Tiger Stadium.
