CBCHSE Ambassador Cameron Badinger

Cameron is studying Human Movement Science in CHSE's School of Kinesiology.

Q: Why did you choose LSU?

A: I chose LSU because I have always been a Tiger fan and on my first visit to LSU I felt very at home and felt a sense of community and pride throughout the campus.

Q: Why did you choose Child & Family Studies as your major?

A: I chose Kinesiology as my major because I am fascinated with the human body and love to learn how the body works and the best ways to keep in shape!

Q: What are you most excited for this semester?

A: I am most excited for my classes next semester because I'm mostly taking advanced Kinesiology classes!

Q: Why did you apply to be a CHSE Ambassador?

A: I applied to be a CHSE Ambassador because I was looking for a new way to get involved around campus, meet new people within the college, and contribute to the college in a positive way.

Q: What advice would you give to someone contemplating your major?

A: The best advice that I can give someone contemplating majoring in Kinesiology is to seriously learn how to study! Learning to study sooner rather than later is the major reason that I have done well throughout my courses.

Q: What is something that surprised you about LSU or CHSE?

A: The thing that surprised me the most at LSU was how many fantastic friendships I would build with people of every major, race, and background.

Q: What do you plan to do with your degree once you graduate?

A: I plan to attend Physical Therapy Professional School.

An interesting fact about me is that I love to cook!

My dream job would be a Major League Baseball Player

My favorite LSU tradition is singing the Alma Mater with my friends in Tiger Stadium at the football games!
