The conference is in Louisville, Kentucky, and is a great opportunity for faculty, staff, graduate students and community partners to network and learn from each other's innovative programming, partnerships and experiences.

The Conference theme is Re-Engaging Democracy in the 21st Century: Preparing Students to Lead Civic-Minded Lives and will feature key note speakers: Caryn McTighe Musil, senior vice president of AAC&U, Julie Hatcher, executive director of the Center for Service and Learning at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), and Silas House, author, activist and the NEH chair of Appalachian Studies at the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center at Berea College.
